Where UptimeIO runs your checks from, and how locations are selected

UptimeIO runs every check from probe locations in different parts of the world. Checking from more than one place tells you whether a problem is real and whether it affects everyone or only some users.

This page is the up-to-date list. Locations may be added or changed over time.

How locations are used

• Each failed check is repeated from other locations.
• An incident opens only after several locations confirm the failure, so a problem at a single location does not alert you.
• Recovery is confirmed the same way.

Choosing locations

Plan	Location selection
Free	Automatic. UptimeIO chooses the locations.
Pro and Scale	Choose at least one location for each monitor.
