Probe locations
Checks run from multiple probe locations. On Pro and Scale you can choose which locations run regular checks for each monitor (at least one). On Free, UptimeIO chooses automatically. Incidents are opened only after several locations confirm a failure, so a problem at a single location does not page you.Monitor limits
Your monitor limit applies to all monitors that exist in your organization, including paused ones. To create more monitors once you reach the limit, delete monitors or upgrade. Resuming a paused monitor is checked against the number of active monitors.Upgrading
When you upgrade, the new limits apply straight away and all your monitors keep running with their data intact.Downgrading
You can downgrade at any time. Before you confirm, the dashboard shows a preview of what will change. When you downgrade:- If you have more active monitors than the new plan allows, your oldest monitors keep running and the newest ones above the limit are paused. The preview lists exactly which monitors will be paused.
- Monitors with a check interval shorter than the new plan’s minimum are moved to that minimum.
- Any unused value from your current billing period is shown in the preview as a credit toward future renewals.
