# Welcome to UptimeIO

> Uptime monitoring from multiple global locations, with confirmed incident detection and instant alerts

## What is UptimeIO?

UptimeIO monitors your websites, APIs, servers and scheduled jobs from multiple [probe locations](/monitors/probe-locations), confirms failures from several locations before raising an incident, and alerts you through the channels you choose.
